Federal Government Publishes Final Rule on Meaningful Use In July 2010, CMS and the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology published the final rule on meaningful use criteria. The next step is for the government to approve of Authorized Testing and Certification Bodies. Read more about Meaningful Use in the STI Customers section of our website. STI will achieve Meaningful Use certification for the ChartMaker Medical Suite, just as we have with past certifications like CCHIT 2007 and 2008.
ChartMaker Clinical 3.2 CCHIT 2008 Certification As of 3/23/2009, ChartMaker Clinical achieved CCHIT 2008 certification, including the optional Child Health and Cardiovascular. This certification allows our customers to participate in various programs, including Stark Exempt EHR donations. This Stark Exempt status will be valid through 2011. http://tinyurl.com/34h4kr9
Medical Practice Participation in Delaware Health Information Network Continues to Grow in 2010 STI joined forces with DHIN in an effort to provide for the fast, secure, and reliable exchange of health information among providers in the state of Delaware. The number of Delaware customers finding benefit in using DHIN services continues to grow as does the number of Hospitals, Medical Centers, and Lab Service Providers integrating with this health information exchange.
