STI PATIENT INQUIRY SYSTEM STI

The Perfect CareĀ® Inquiry System is designed to handle on-the-spot patient inquiries by providing immediate access to all patient information. This information includes all current charges and payments, past history, monthly payment data, and charges in bad debt. The data is divided logically into seven tabs according to the type of data you need to review. With this multiple screen format, you can access the information you need instantly.

Financial Tab [VIEW SCREEN SHOT]
This screen shows a breakdown summary of the patient's financial status with the practice, including an aging for patient charges and those the insurance will assume. For handling a phone inquiry, this screen is an excellent place to start; it shows the operator a great deal about what has transpired with this patient. When you enter the Inquire Section, this is the first screen you will see. If the patient has any charges in Bad Debt, or any charges that are in the 90+ days category they are clearly apparent. This screen also shows amounts due but not yet billed from both the patient and insurance.

Credit amount indicates to the operator that there is a credit balance. The Budget amount shows the patient is on a monthly payment plan. Last payment data, the date and amount of the last payment are shown. This can quickly tell you whether or not the patient is making an effort to pay his or her balance. The system status code is a userdefined code that accommodates the special needs of an individual practice. The code is displayed here for your personal use.

Patient Info Tab
The patient's contact information and insurance data is displayed here. Each of the patient's insurance policies is shown, plus any disability information if applicable, and any information regarding approval numbers in the system.

Charges Tab [VIEW SCREEN SHOT]
In addition to showing the charge amount and balance on each open charge, and who was last billed and when, the system displays each of the patient's insurances and whether or not they accept assignment. Using this information, the operator can determine what billing action the system will take next, and if it is inappropriate, change the sequence. Perfect Care adds another unique feature to the Inquire Section: by using the show descriptions option, you can replace codes with complete descriptions, you can "expand" the screen to show more information on each charge line. This keeps the screens uncluttered and provides you with all available information on the charges.

Payments Tab
All payments that have been posted will appear here. This tab displays the date paid, check number, payment type, and associated write-offs for each payment.

Itemized Tab [VIEW SCREEN SHOT]
To get a more complete picture, view charge and payment history together on one screen, in chronological order. Each charge is listed, along with all corresponding payments and write-offs credited against that charge in sequence! If more than one payment was applied to a single charge, all the payments for a given charge are grouped together, one payment per line, in chronological order. Thereby, Perfect Care gives you a full history of how each charge was paid off, or not paid off, for any charge, in any history year.

Appointments Tab
Perfect Care's Patient Inquiry System is integrated with the Appointment System. Unlike some vendors who provide two distinct applications; with Perfect Care you can view a patient's appointments from both the Inquiry screen and the Appointment System. If a patient asks about their next or last appointment while you are reviewing their financial information the answer is only one mouse click away. Past appointment information also track patient no-shows and cancellations.

Bad Debt Tab
Delinquent charges are entered into the bad debt system on a charge-by-charge basis. This gives you the flexibility to track charges separately, while maintaining active billing with the patient, which is especially useful in the case of billing disputes. The bad debt collections tab lists all charges for this patient that are currently in the Bad Debt System, along with all the pertinent information about each charge, and the collection agency responsible to collect the debt if you use one.
