Configure External DB Access Privilege

The External DB Access privilege allows the selected user the ability to connect to the database for repairs and updates. There are two levels of privilege for External DB Access: None (cannot connect to the database) and All (can connect to the database). Use the following steps to configure the External DB Access privilege for a user.

1. Click Edit > System Tables > Users.
    

2. In the Users dialog, double-click the User you want to configure the External DB Access privilege for.
    

3. Click the Privileges tab.
    

4. Highlight the External DB Access privilege, and then click the All radio button.
    

5. When finished, click the OK button.
