View Medications History

When accessed, the Medications history will display the Date of each medication event, the Medication, the Sig, the type of Action, the RxNorm, and the Signer (Signing Provider). Use the following steps to view Medications history for a patient.

1. Access the patient's chart.
    

2. Click the History tab, and then click the Medications button.
    

3. The Medication history will now appear for the patient. You have the ability to filter medication data by clicking the column-headings to sort on that item, or click the corresponding drop-down list in the column-heading to view specific data contained in that column item. For example, when viewing Medication history events you can select to view specific data based on the Medication, Sig, Action, or the Signer column. Do note, when a Medication has been ended, the Sig field will contain the discontinuation reason.
