Add a Tool Preference

The Add a Tool tab of the Preferences area allows you to configure an external application or program that will open directly from ChartMaker® Clinical. Once the tool is added, it will appear in the Tools menu. Use the following steps to add a tool.

 

 

  1. Click Edit > Preferences.
     

  2. Click the Add a Tool  tab.
     

  3. In the Name field, enter the Name of the Application you are adding. This is the name that will appear in the Tools menu.
     

  4. In the Params field, enter any Parameters that need to be executed for the application you are adding.
     

  5. In Command field, click the button, and browse to the executable file (*.exe) for the application you are adding.
     

  6. Once the correct path appears in the Command field, click the Set button.
     

  7. When finished, click the OK button.
