Ongoing Medications Preference

The Ongoing Medications preference allows you to configure whether or not you want ongoing medications text to appear in a chart note. Use the following steps to configure the Ongoing Medications preference.

 

 

  1. Click Edit > Preferences.
     

  2. Click the Advanced tab.
     

  3. In the Category field, enter MEDS.
     

  4. In the Option field, enter SHOWONGOING.
     

  5. In the Value field, enter 1 if you would like the ongoing medication information text to show in the chart note (this is the default setting), or enter 0 if you do not want the ongoing medication information text to show in the chart note.
     

  6. Check the Default box if you want to set this preference for the entire practice. If this is left unchecked the default setting will be set for the current user only.
     

  7. Click the Set button.
     

  8. When finished, click the OK button.
