The Appearance tab of the Preferences area allows you to configure the font size for your Notes, Face Sheets, Flow Sheets, and other printed documents, as well as allowing you to adjust the size of the toolbar in ChartMaker® Clinical. Use the following steps to configure the appearance preferences.
Click Edit >
Preferences.
Click the Appearance
tab.
To modify the font size, click the Notes,
Face Sheet, Note
Header, Flow Sheet, or
Other button.
In the Font dialog, modify the Font
options as needed, and then click the OK
button.
Modify the Scaling
Factor,
as needed.
In the Default To-Do List View section, click
the All, Charts,
Recall, Lab,
Orders, Messages/Tasks,
or Last Viewed radio button to
determine which tab will be the default view for the To-Do List. The Last
Viewed option will default to whichever tab was last viewed by the user
when last logged in.
NOTE: The Default To-Do List View preference is a user-specific setting
and will be based upon whichever user is currently logged onto the system
when the change to the preference is made.
In the Default Flowsheet View section, check the
Set Default Flowsheet option,
and then
select the applicable Flow Sheet
to use as the default when you access the Flowsheet tab in a patient's
chart. If this option is not selected, the system default will be used.
In the Toolbar Size section, click the Small,
Large with Text, or Large
without Text radio button to modify how the toolbar will appear.
In the Default Chart View section, click the Last Note, Organizer,
Demographics, or Flowsheet
radio button to determine what view will default when opening a patient's
chart.
When finished configuring the Appearance Preferences,
click the OK button.
