Configure No Active Medications in the Face Sheet

You have the ability to configure a No Active Medications option via the patient's Face Sheet that allows you to track that a patient is not currently taking any medications.

1. Open an existing or new Chart Note for the patient.
    

2. In the patient's Face Sheet, click * button next to the Indicate as No Active Medications option.
   
   
   
   
   When this option is selected the Face Sheet will be updated with a "No Active Medications" entry, the history tab and the audit trail will also list applicable entries for this event, and a drug log will automatically be generated for the patient with the applicable No Active Medications information.
   
   NOTE: You also have the ability to Renew and Discontinue the No Active Medications entry in a similar manner you would renew or discontinue a medication. Whenever a No Active Medications entry is renewed or discontinued, the applicable Face Sheet, History, and Audit Trail entries will be updated and a drug log will be generated with the applicable information regarding the renewal or discontinuation.
   
   NOTE: Once a medication is prescribed for a patient, the "No Active Medications" entry will be automatically removed from the Face Sheet.
