When assigning scanned items to patient charts, you have the ability to undo a the last scan that you assigned to a patient should you mistakenly assign the scan to a patient. By clicking the Undo button on the bottom screen you can cancel the last scan that you assigned to a patient. You can undo up to five sequential transactions in a session. Once the Undo button is clicked five times sequentially with no interim transactions, the button will become locked again. Once a new transaction is saved, the Undo button will become available.
Once a transaction becomes undone or un-filed, the new scanned item in the patient's chart is removed, the scanned file is returned to an unassigned state, and the scanned file is renamed to a sequential unique file in the designated file type list and within the temporary folder location.
There is no difference if multiple files were saved to a folder within one transaction.
