Add a New Provider in ChartMaker® Clinical

Before adding a new Provider in ChartMaker® Clinical, be sure a User ID has been added for this provider. Before the provider can be successfully added, they must be linked to a User ID. If a User ID has not been created, Add a New User before adding the provider. Use the following steps to add a new provider in ChartMaker® Clinical.

1. Click Edit > System Tables > Providers.
    

2. In the Providers dialog, click the Add button.
    

3. In the Basic tab, click into each field and enter the appropriate Provider Information as needed.
    

4. Click the Privileges tab.
   
   
   
    

5. Click the Link to User button.
   
   
   
    

6. In the Users dialog, select the User you want to link this provider to, and then click the OK button.
   
   
   
   
    

7. In the Credentials field, enter the applicable Credentials for this provider.
   
   NOTE: The Credentials field will automatically be populated with the Provider’s Degree; however, this value can be manually changed. This field is also linked with the Credentials field in the Users Properties dialog, so that any manual changes in one field will automatically the other field.
    

8. When finished, click the OK button.
