Create a Macro

Use the following steps to create a Macro.

1. Open the ChartMaker® Clinical Voice Application and wait for the Speaker to load in the bottom right of the window.
    

2. Click Voice > Tools > Add New Command.
    

3. In the MyCommand Name field, enter the name of the command, or the word or words you want to say to recall the text.
    

4. In the Context field, enter the phrase you want to show when you say the command name.
    

5. If you want to edit the font of the text, highlight the text, and then select choose the applicable options from the formatting toolbar. Be sure that the font style and size matches your ChartMaker Clinical Voice Application and ChartMaker® Clinical defaults.
    

6. After the Content has been entered, click the Train button.
    

7. In the Train Words dialog, click the Go button.
    

8. When the yellow bar appears, say the word in the Please say field.
    

9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 at least 3 times.
    

10. When finished, click the Done button.
     

11. In the MyCommands Editor dialog, click the Save button.
