Configure the Microphone for Voice Recognition

In order for the ChartMaker® Clinical Voice Application to recognize your microphone, you need to perform the Volume Check and Quality Check. Use the following steps to perform the microphone check.

1. Open the ChartMaker® Clinical Voice Application and wait for the Speaker to load in the bottom right of the window.
    

2. Click Voice > Tools > Accuracy Center.
    

3. Click the Check your audio settings link.
    

4. In the Audio Setup Wizard - Step 1 of 3 dialog, click the Next button.
    

5. In the Audio Setup Wizard - Step 2 of 3 dialog, click the Start Volume Check button.
    

6. Begin reading the paragraph. When you receive the Volume has been adjusted successfully message, click the Next button.
    

7. In the Audio Setup Wizard - Step 3 of 3 dialog, click the Start Quality Check button.
    

8. Begin reading the paragraph. When you receive the You have successfully finished audio setup message and the Audio quality check states PASSED, click the Finish button.
