The following provides and outline of what to do to create a new prescription with the Prescription Layout Tool.

Open the Prescription
Layout Tool. Select File/New
menu command.
Enter initial parameters into the New Layout dialog,
and then click the OK button.
Load a new image object, and select the background
image prepared in the first step. Make the background image non-printable.
Place all Static
Text,
Database
Fields,
and Boolean
Fields
into the layout as needed.
Save the CML file.
Configure the printer driver to use the proper
custom size.
Configure ChartMaker®
Clinical to use the new CML file.
Test the layout by printing a prescription.
Adjust as needed, see the Hints and Suggestions for more information.
