Once the dictation is completed, you can then insert the dictation text or some of the text directly into the opened patient chart. You also have the ability to insert dictation in to multiple chart notes. Use the following steps to insert dictation text into a patient's chart note.
In the ChartMaker Clinical Voice Application dialog,
highlight the Text you want to
insert into the chart note.
Click File >
Post Data To ChartMaker. The highlighted text will then be inserted
into the chart note. If there is a dictation marker in the note, the dictation
will go there. If there is no marker then the program will ask you if
you want to put the text where the cursor is in the patient's note. Click
the Yes button.
When finished, close the ChartMaker® Clinical Voice Application.
