New providers are typically entered in ChartMaker® Practice Manager, and then the provider needs to be added to a practice. Once those two operations are performed in Practice Manager, then the provider must be linked to a user in ChartMaker® Clinical. Privileges are assigned at the User level, therefore, if a User ID does not exist for a provider, a new user must be created before a provider can be successfully added to ChartMaker® Clinical.
